Stars of Africa
Stars of Africa was inspired by the nights I have spent beneath the vast skies of southern Africa, where the darkness seems to deepen the brilliance of every star. I have always found those evenings mesmerizing — the sheer number of stars scattered across the heavens, the luminous clarity of the Milky Way, and the quiet certainty that I was standing in a place where the world still felt ancient and immeasurably alive.
As night settled over the land, the sounds of wildlife rose softly around me, adding a living rhythm to the stillness above. In those moments, the sky and the earth seemed to speak to one another — the stars shining overhead while the creatures of the dark moved below. This painting is my attempt to capture that feeling of wonder, where beauty is both immense and intimate, and where the African night becomes a place of reverence, mystery, and awe.
