Mother's Love

As an artist, my palette is deeply influenced by the breathtaking moments life provides. This oil painting captures a tender scene I witnessed while in Botswana—a mother zebra and her playful new foal, drinking peacefully beside a shimmering stream as the sun bids farewell to the day. 

The canvas is alive with golden hues, the sky painted in a gradient of warm oranges and soft purples, reflecting the serenity of the sunset. The zebras, with their striking black and white stripes, showcase the intricate patterns that make them so unique. Their gentle gazes convey a sense of nurturing and protection, embodying the bond between mother and child.
