Leopards Gaze
There are moments in the wild that etch themselves into your memory forever. “Leopards Gaze” was born from one such encounter—a rare afternoon in the Serengeti, where I watched a powerful male leopard patrol his territory with silent confidence. For hours, I observed his movements, the way sunlight danced across his coat, and the intensity in his amber gaze as he drew near. At one point, he approached within a few feet, locking eyes with me in a moment of mutual curiosity and respect.
This painting is my attempt to capture the spirit of that encounter—the intricate beauty of his fur, the quiet strength in his posture, and the wild intelligence in his eyes.
