As I painted this piece, I reflected on a breathtaking moment from my travels—an afternoon in the wild when I was fortunate enough to see a magnificent leopard lounging gracefully in the branches of an ancient tree. This artwork captures the intricate details of the leopard's textured fur, the piercing gaze of its amber eyes, and the delicate play of light and shadow that dances across its powerful body. My aim was to encapsulate the tranquility and strength of this solitary creature, showcasing its perfect blend of stealth and beauty as it rests, poised yet relaxed, in its leafy sanctuary.
